A base for visiting Florence

Leonardo's Place Florence is in Piazza del Crocifisso, between Santa Maria Novella station and the Fortezza da Basso. A convenient position for anyone arriving by train, and for anyone who wants to see Florence on foot.

The four rooms, recently renovated, have what you need for a comfortable stay: air conditioning, private bathroom with walk-in shower, safe, minibar and a kettle for tea and coffee.

The Location

Piazza del Crocifisso sits off the main routes, but still inside the centre. Distances in Florence are short, and three hundred metres are enough to change the kind of street you look out on.

The rooms have been recently renovated, with the same choice of materials throughout the house: light wood floors, black metal frames, concrete-effect surfaces, bathrooms in marble-effect stoneware. Each has a minibar and a kettle for tea and coffee.

Close to Everything

The Mercato Centrale and the Basilica of San Lorenzo are seven or eight minutes away on foot, the Accademia Gallery around ten, the Duomo twelve.

Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi take about twenty minutes, again on foot. Guests arriving by car can request parking when booking.
